The Sum of All Donations
Thank You to Luanne Pontbriant and Jacquie Lober for helping to sort, write cards and package all the knit and crochet donations to the various shelters and programs we have adopted. We delivered to Help of Ojai, Project Understanding, Ojai Valley Family Shelter, Casa Serena and several shelters in Alaska and Canada.

Blue Moon Mandala in Happily Hooked Magazine
Happy to be a part of Happily Hooked Magazine again this month!
Amazing how popular Crocheted Mandalas are becoming! You can hang them anywhere to add color, beauty and fun to your life. I love them outside hanging in trees, with the light shining through them……it’s almost magical!
Check the magazine out HERE ……they are full of lots and lots of great patterns and ideas……and the people behind the magazine are simply wonderful!
Crocheted Knobs
Darn Good Yarn
Check out this wonderful company! (Click on the photo)
They work closely with the women in India who create a lot of their yarns and other goodies.
Here is a dress I designed with their Recycled Sari Silk. Pattern available on Ravelry!
Happily Hooked Magazine #16
Happy to be a part of Happily Hooked Magazine’s Summer Issue #16!
Check out this wonderful online, monthly magazine. There is something for everybody in every issue. They have an array of designers and patterns, fun and informative articles……and it is run by very wonderful and professional people!
My contribution this month are the BareFoot Sandals!
Easy to crochet……great on the beach and poolside……I love them in yoga class……and they are awesome with simple sandals, flat or high heels……so you can wear them out on the town.
World Wide Knit in Public Day 2015
We had the most wonderful Day last Saturday June 13th for World Wide Knit in Public Day at BookEnds Bookstore in Meiners Oaks, Ojai California. Proud to be one of the almost 900 groups in 56 different countries participating this year. This is our first year in Ojai, but the tenth for WWKIPDay. We had 60 women come together, from 8 years old to 88 years old……sharing, laughing, helping each other, teaching each other……fully embodying the official slogan of
“Better Living Through Stitching Together”
Here we are teaching each other……
Helping……
Sharing……Everybody brought yummy food, desserts and refreshments…..
……benefiting “Knitting in Recovery – One Stitch at a Time”
It’s 4pm……and no one wants to leave……people kept coming and coming……
……so we decided to start a Knitting Group here and meet every other Thursday!
Thank You so much to Celeste (right) and Marsha, owners of BookEnds Bookstore, for being such gracious hosts. It was the most perfect spot to have this event……and we are so glad to be a part of your wonderful place!
